Springs Road Family Practice

Attracted by the wonderful climate, Dr. Doug Nelson chose Hickory, North Carolina as the place to raise his family.  He began practicing medicine in Hickory in 1987 and was joined by Dr. Steven Corder in 1989. Together they formed and built Spring Road Family Practice.

In 1998, Springs Road Family Practice joined together with Conover Family Practice. Granite Falls Primary Care Physicians, and Medical Arts Clinic to form Crown Health Care.   

William Faltermyer Jr. joined the practice in December 2007.  He is a Board Certified Osteopathic Physician.

Springs Road Family Practice offers on-site lab and x-ray services.  Springs Road Family Practice also has a full-time Physician Assistant.   

Springs Road Family Practice is the home of Crown Health Care�s Dexascan (Bone Densiometry Equipment) used to diagnose and monitor Osteoporosis.
